Larger slabs on newer lots

Newer East Wenatchee subdivisions leave real usable space around the house, so driveways run wider and back patios run deeper than what we pour in older parts of the valley. Large slabs need joint layout planned before the truck arrives, because a big rectangle with no plan will crack on its own schedule. We lay out control joints on a spacing that matches the slab thickness and shape, keep reinforcement continuous through the sections that carry vehicles, and set the slope so a wide apron still drains instead of holding water along the garage.

RV pads, extra parking, and access

Boats, campers, and work trailers are part of life out here, and gravel parking turns into ruts and weeds within a couple of seasons. We pour dedicated RV and trailer pads at a thickness built for the point loads jacks and tongue weight create, and we tie the pad into the existing driveway so you are not crossing a lip every time you pull in. Where the yard has been graded for drainage already, we work with that grade rather than fighting it, so runoff keeps moving away from the foundation.

Backyard concrete that gets used

Most of the patios we pour in East Wenatchee are for shade structures, outdoor kitchens, and hot tubs. Each one has its own requirement. A hot tub needs a thicker, level section. A shade structure needs anchor points thought through before the pour, not drilled in later. An outdoor kitchen needs a surface that cleans easily and does not stay slick. We ask what is going on the slab before we form it, which saves cutting and patching after the fact.

Big garages are the norm in newer East Wenatchee builds, and a bare slab that size shows every stain. Larger floors take an extra day, and we schedule so vehicles are back in as soon as the coating is ready for them.
